What is the Middle Bet Calculator used for?
This middle betting calculator will determine if you can use the middle betting strategy with two given bets. The middle bet calculator will also calculate how much you should place on these bets.
Finally, it will show which score lines will create a profitable situation and how much profit you would expect from each score line.
The middle betting calculator is used in conjunction with middle bet software.

How to use the Middle Betting Calculator
Step 1: Set our Market Type
First thing we need to do is tell the calculator if we are betting on a total points market or a spread market. You can select the appropriate market from the dropdown like the image below:
Step 2: Select our Bet Stake Type
Once we have set our market type on the middle bet calculator. We then need to tell the calculator how it should calculate our bet stakes. We have two dropdown options:
- Total Set Stake
- Set Outcome Stake
Total Set Stake: If we select this option. We will then give the calculator a total amount we would like to bet between both outcomes. For Example, If I have $300 in total to bet on this middle bet. I can select the Total Set Stake option from the dropdown
Once selected a Total Stake input box will appear below. We can then enter our $300 total stake.
Alternatively, if we want to specify a set amount we want to bet on an outcome we can use the Set Outcome Stake option.
Set Outcome Stake: This option will allow us to set a specific amount for one of our middle bets. The calculator will then calculate how much should be placed on the opposing. middle bet. If you select the Set Outcome Stake option from the dropdown, a pair of checkboxes will appear below.
Select the bet that you would like to set the stake for. We will enter the bet stake further down the calculator.
Step 3: Enter our Information About our Bets
Next we need to enter information about middle bets we want to place. Enter the Under Points and Over Points for a totals market and the Underdog Spread and Favorite Spread for a spread market.
In addition, enter the American Odds / Moneyline odds for each outcome.
Step 4: Review or Enter our Bet Stakes
Previously, If we selected Total Set Stake as our stake type then our bet stakes for each bet outcome are generated from the information entered in the bet info section
However, If we selected the Set Outcome Stake option. First, we must enter our specified bet stake in order for the other bet stake to get generated.
Step 5: Review the Potential Bet Outcomes
Finally, we can review the potential outcomes of our middle bet at the bottom of the middle betting calculator.
The image below represents two bets on totals market of Over 7 Goals and Under 5 Goals
As we can see if we read Middle bet Calculator from left to right:
- 4 goals or below results in the Under Bet winning and the over bet losing
- 5 goals will result in the under bet winning and the over bet pushing
- At 6 goals we hit the middle! This means we win both the over and under bets
- 7 goals will result in the over bet winning and the under bet pushing.
- 8 goals or more will mean the over bet wins and the under bet loses
If the total goals or spread bet entered do not create a middle opportunity then the calculator will display ‘This is not a middle bet!’
The calculator will also display when push outcomes are not available or when a complete middle is not possible, but a push outcome or two push outcomes are available.
